Microsoft has just released the final version of Internet Explorer 8, one that is very fast and offers new features. But on a PC, I use Firefox for one reason: It is faster than Internet Explorer 6 and 7.
I use Safari and Firefox when I'm on a Mac. There are people who rave about one browser over another - I'm not that guy. I have no brand loyalty on this issue, just a preference for efficiency.
